Ensemble Fiori Armonici Vienna 

Florilegivm Mvsicvm Vienna

Funded by its musical director Vladimir Prado who wanted to form an period instrument ensemble, in order to perform pieces composed during the XVII. and XVIII centuries. The ensemble has a varying an very flexible structure.

The ensemble’s repertoire includes Cantates of Johann Sebastian Bach, Johann Joseph Fux, and intrumental music by Antonio Vivaldi and Henry Purcell, etc. The formation is also known for its thematics programs including musicological well supported links between works and composers arround a given thema.

For many production the organicum of the "Fiori armonici Vienna" is completed by "Fiori Vocali di Vienna", a parallel a capella ensemble founded also by Vladimir Prado. Fiori Vocali, a group of only eight voices, performs regularly concerts including master pieces of the vocal polyphony such as Masses, Motets, Madrigals, chansons, etc. composed during the XVI. and XVII. centuries.
