VLADIMIR PRADO
Austrian-Venezuelan orchestral conductor, chorus master and musicologist.
Obtained his grades of Master of arts in orchestral conducting and Master of Arts in choir conducting at the University for Music and Performing Arts Vienna.

- Mark Stringer, Leopold Hager, Erwin Ortner and Günther Theuring

- Piano with: Thomas Kreuzberger
- Composition at the class of Erich Urbanner
Doctor of Philosophy degree in musicology (PhD) with research works about the "four voices madrigals by Philippe de Monte" at the University for Music and Performing Arts Vienna.
Founded and conducted for several years the Ensemble, Florilegivm Mvsicvm Vienna, an innovative group, which introduced works of the most important composers of the 20th and 21st century and new pieces of young composers, in order to promote contemporary music

Active participant of the Lucerne Festival Academy with Peter Eötvös and conducted successfully the "orchestra one" of GRUPPEN for three orchestras of Karheinz Stockhausen. He was musical assistant and "Klangregisseur" of the production of Stockhausen’s GRUPPEN by Wien Modern Festival with the Radiosymphonieorchester of Vienna (Austria).
Active participant of the "International Eric Ericson Master Class on Choral and Orchestral Conducting" and worked together with Eric Ericson, Andrew Parrott and Cecilia Rydinger-Alin.
Participant of the "Eduardo Mata International conducting competition" (Mexico), and the "International Conductors Competition Gennady Rozhdestvensky" (Sofia)
Music conductor of the production "Der Kaukasische Kreidekreis" text: Bertolt Brecht and mucsic: Paul Dessau, at the Schauspielhaus of Vienna.
